Natural Encounters Inc. prides itself on
presenting a wide variety of birds from around the world,
many of which have never been trained or used in educational
programs before. The birds we use in our educational programs
come from breeders and zoos, we do not take any birds out
of the wild for our shows.
Natural Encounters, Inc. specializes
in using free-flighted birds displaying everyday and unusual
natural behavior. This page lists just some of the species
we have trained and includes natural history information
and training notes for many of them. This page will be updated
frequently as we are always working with new birds or learning
new things about old ones.
