Designed specifically for professional animal trainers, consultants, and caregivers of all species, a limited number of spaces will also be available to companion parrot owners. Space is available on a first come, first served basis, though preference will be given to first-time attendees.
Under the guidance of NEI President Steve Martin and Dr. Susan Friedman, PhD, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to participate in the training of a large flock of young macaws as we prepare for an exciting new show opportunity. Birds of the World steal the show at State Fair of Texas

DALLAS -- The Fair Park Band Shell will never be mistaken for one of the carnival rides at the nearby State Fair midway.
But the hordes of children and adults who gather there daily for the Birds of the World show might disagree.
Where else would they have to duck as a huge marabou stork, with its 11-foot wingspan, glides over their heads? Or look up to see a Harris' hawk divebomb from the Texas Star Ferris wheel to the stage in a matter of seconds?
